Argument In Reading Ends With Shots Fired: Police

An argument in Reading ended in gunshots early Wednesday, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Penn Street, where they found 48-year-old Carlos Rodriguez with a gunshot wound to the leg around 2:30 a.m., Reading police said.

Rodriguez was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment, according to police.

Gunfire reportedly broke out after an argument between Rodriguez and two other men in the 300 block of Penn Street. 

The argument became physical, and when Rodriguez tried to flee, one of the men shot him, according to police.

The two alleged suspects fled soon after.
